Long Thanh International Airport, a pivotal infrastructure project in Vietnam, is located in Long Thanh District, Dong Nai Province, approximately 40km east of Ho Chi Minh City. Spanning over 5,000 hectares, the airport is designed to become a leading aviation hub in Southeast Asia, alleviating pressure on Tan Son Nhat Airport and meeting the rapidly growing demand for air travel. Phase 1 is expected to serve 25 million passengers and handle 1.2 million tons of cargo annually, marking a significant milestone in Vietnam’s economic development.
The construction of Long Thanh Airport is progressing swiftly, backed by substantial government and international investment. Upon completion, it will feature four runways and four terminals, with a maximum capacity of 100 million passengers per year. Beyond its role as a transportation hub, the airport stands as a symbol of modernity, elevating Vietnam’s stature in the global aviation industry.
