Van Lang University, one of the first private universities in Vietnam, was established under Decision No. 71/TTg in 1995 by the Prime Minister. The university offers 60 programs across 7 academic fields, with many programs meeting international accreditation standards such as AUN-QA, FIBAA, and QS Stars 4-star rating. Notably, it ranks among the top 491–500 universities in Asia according to the QS Rankings 2025.

The main campus, located at 69/68 Dang Thuy Tram Street, Ward 13, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City, serves as the primary center for administration and education. Spanning nearly 6 hectares, the campus features a 12-story building supporting academic and operational needs of various faculties. It is equipped with modern facilities to meet the study and research demands of students and faculty.
