TILCOR ROOFING

1. THE LOW-PROFILE APPEAL OF SHINGLE

  • The Tilcor Shingle textured-finish tile captures the subtle look and charm of low-profile traditional shingles. With a Tilcor Shingle roof, you can eliminate the delaminating, lifting and general break-down caused by strong UV rays and high winds associated with other shingle roofs. With its exceptional durability, a Tilcor Shingle roof offers superior performance and all the advantages of stone-coated steel. Tilcor Shingle comes in a choice of natural weathered tones to recreate the visual appeal of timber, asphalt or fired-clay shingles.

  • Extensive research and development in the design process ensures every Tilcor product is manufactured to the highest quality with exceptional durability and strength. The tile profiles and roofing accessories are engineered to interlock and overlap to resist wind lifting and keep out the harsh elements. At less than 7kg/m2, a Tilcor roof is a ‘Lightweight Roofing System’, so considerable cost savings can be achieved during construction. The perfect replacement for your old existing roof, a Tilcor roof lets you improve the look and value of your home in a matter of days.

2. TILCOR PERFORMANCE GUARANTEES

  • Tilcor’s textured finish provides added protection by embedding natural stone granules in an acrylic base-coat. A final clear acrylic over-glaze is applied before being oven cured at 120° C. This extremely durable UV-resistant coating enables Tilcor roofing products to withstand the harshest environments around the world. Tilcor is ISO 9001 accredited and has international tests reports, appraisals and field results confirm our products are 100% waterproof, earthquake safe, fire resistant and able to withstand hurricane-force winds of up to 190kph. A Tilcor roof will not only safeguard your investment but will also give you complete peace of mind because it’s backed by a Tilcor Warranty.
  • The market rewarded our innovative approach, and as a result we have grown to become a major player in the supply of pressed metal roofing tiles around the world. • A metal tile roof is lighter than a concrete or clay tile roof, more durable than an asphalt shingle roof, and easier to handle than long-run corrugate sheets. It is the best reliable and affordable roofing system in the market place in a range of design and styles. In term of delivery to the job site, a metal tile roof is the most cost effective roof for transportation and provides the lowest carbon footprint of any roof on the market.

4. ZINCALUME®

  • New Zealand Steel Limited is the country’s sole steel producer, operating a fully integrated steel mill at Glenbrook. Using locally sourced ironsand, NZ Steel manufacture a range of flat steel products for the building. The company has also received a “tick” from Environmental Choice New Zealand! NZ Steel introduced ZINCALUME® to the New Zealand market in 1994. ZINCALUME® combines the corrosion protection of aluminium with the sacrificial protection of zinc, giving it the advantage of both metals. As a result, ZINCALUME® has a significantly longer service life than a galvanised steel product using only zinc. This is of particular value in New Zealand where the prevailing winds carry corrosive salt laden air many kilometres inland.
